Practical higher education in health, business, technology, law and education, in the heart of Oku, North West Region of Cameroon.
Bright Higher Institute Elak-Oku (BHI) trains young people and adults for real careers. Students learn in the laboratory from their first weeks, then complete supervised internships in hospitals and businesses.
Alongside BHI, our vocational institute VTI-BHCE offers one-year programmes approved by MINEFOP, giving every learner a clear path from vocational certificate to HND, Bachelor's and Master's studies.

A nurse who can care for a patient, an accountant who keeps honest books, a technician who can repair a computer: each of them can support a family and lift a community. That is why we insist on practice, real internships and lecturers who know their trade.
Leadership is not about a title, but about service, vision, and the courage to empower others to rise.
On 14 October 2026 the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, granted provisional authorisation for the creation and opening of BHI, following an inspection on 9 September 2026. HND training is authorised in six fields.
Under the ASA Programme 2026, we held a seminar on Education for Sustainable Development in Douala with our international partners. Participants received certificates at the close of the seminar.
Football club Mboh FC proudly displayed our name and logo, thanking the institute and spreading the word about our programmes across the community.
